Rob Clarke

Rob is a specialist construction lawyer with broad experience in the commercial, engineering, consultancy and construction project sectors, with particular focus on major projects (including alliances), construction law, dispute resolution, and drafting of consultancy contracts.

Prior to joining Greenwood Roche, Rob spent 5 years working as in-house counsel for two international multi-disciplinary consultancy firms on projects across New Zealand and Australia. Rob has also worked at two large New Zealand law firms. He was a commercial project manager prior to becoming a lawyer. Rob brings a blend of expertise from working within the construction industry and in private practice, applying commercial acumen and pragmatism to provide client-focussed, strategic advice both in contract negotiations and project advisory work. Rob has broad experience in advising both public and private sector clients across all stages of construction projects including contract negotiation, risk mitigation and management, contract interpretation and dispute avoidance/resolution.
