Genesis/Yinson strategic investment framework

Greenwood Roche, led by Kate Watt, advised Yinson Renewables in relation to its strategic arrangements with Genesis Energy for wind development opportunities in New Zealand. The firm’s role included advising on the general investment framework and preparing template investment documentation for future project participation, including limited partnership agreements and share sale and purchase agreements, drawing on specialist expertise in energy and resources, corporate and commercial, public and regulatory, and construction and infrastructure matters. The work supported the establishment of a repeatable framework under which Genesis may participate as a potential co-investor and off-taker in Yinson Renewables’ New Zealand wind development pipeline.
