Summer Clerk and Graduate Recruitment 2024/2025 - applications are now open

We are recruiting for a limited number of Summer Clerk and Graduate positions for 2024/2025.  Applications are now open and close at 12pm on 27 March 2024.

We view the Summer Clerk experience as an opportunity for talented students to do real work, meet real clients and contribute to real projects. It’s not about being a “summer clerk” – there is no summer clerk challenge, retreat or skit – but being part of the team and experiencing what it is really like to work at our firm.  Our approach to recruitment has always been to give positions to people whom we hope will join us permanently at the end of their studies, not just fill a seat for the summer.

While most of our Graduates are returning Summer Clerks, we are also looking for a few additional team members in anticipation of a busy 2025.

If you have an excellent academic record and think a career in project law might be for you, please contact our recruitment Partner Francelle Lupis (Francelle@greenwoodroche.com) no later than 12pm Wednesday 27 March 2024 with the following information:

  • Covering letter – we are interested in hearing about you … but also keen to know why you are interested in joining us!
  • CV.
  • Academic Transcript.
  • Writing sample.
  • Location preference for our Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch office locations or indicate if you have no preference.
  • Confirm where you are currently located for an interview – we interview in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.
  • Indicate if you are applying for a Summer Clerk (summer of 2024/2025) or Graduate (commencing full-time work in 2025) position.

We will contact you in April to confirm whether you are invited to interview and intend to make our offers to successful candidates in May 2024.
